Bring a picture

THE TALEFINCH WRITING DESK
Every picture holds a possibility. Upload a photograph or drawing, add an optional note, and discover the story beyond the frame.
Choose a picture with a clear subject or setting. A useful note adds something the picture cannot show: the character’s goal, an unexpected event, or a genre. The story invents identities and events rather than identifying the real people in a photo.
JPEG, PNG, and WebP pictures up to 10 MB can be prepared in the browser. The source picture is resized and re-encoded before a generation request; only the written result and your note are kept in the story library.
Use the empty railway platform as the setting. The suitcase belongs to a traveler who will arrive tomorrow. Write a gentle mystery.
A LITTLE DIRECTION, A LOT OF POSSIBILITY
Upload one clear photo, painting, or drawing. Add a note to steer the story.
Choose a language and a voice. Use guided controls when you want more direction.
Edit the result, save it in your library, download it, or carry it into a book.
My Library saves tool results on this browser and device. It is separate from cloud manuscript copies. Download important stories before clearing browser data.
Yes. Every result is editable. Rewrite, shorten, and expand request a new AI draft; manual editing, saving, and downloading do not require AI access.
Choose from 36 output languages. The result keeps its original language when you save or export it. Length counts Han characters individually and words in other scripts.
Pictures are resized and re-encoded in your browser, then sent to the configured AI provider for this request. The source image is not stored in My Library. Provider retention depends on your provider settings.
The controls and editor are available. AI requests need a configured writing provider; illustrations need an image provider. Public generation remains closed until account and usage controls are connected.
Keep your characters, build an outline, and take it chapter by chapter.
